TNA LEGENDS CHAMPION BOOKER T SPEAKS CANDIDLY WITH THE PRO WRESTLING ADVOCATES
JANUARY 9, 2009 – CHARLOTTE, NC – VRadio’s Big Poppa G and Out Impact’s Bambi Weavil, air in a special Friday night edition of “Pro Wrestling Advocates” a candid interview with TNA Legends Champion Booker T. Booker T goes in-depth to how important it is to him to be a professional in the wrestling industry, what things have changed in pro wrestling in the 19 years he’s been involved, what he tells his students at his wrestling academy, who he has modeled himself after, his legacy in the pro wrestling industry, what he looks forward to at TNA Genesis in Charlotte, North Carolina and more.
“The way we trained back in the day, as far as the learning process, I explain it like the way I was taught, we were like Maxwell House and today they are like, instant coffee,” Booker T laughed. “We were brewed a long time and then we were ready to go when it’s really time, and now, the kids are just put out there and they aren’t ready and a lot of them don’t make it, and they don’t have a chance. But I don’t blame them, I blame the way they were taught.”
The Pro Wrestling Advocates will air this special interview tonight at 11p EST and again on Saturday night at 6p EST and a special Sunday broadcast at 10p EST. The Pro Wrestling Advocates air weekly for two hours and features guest appearances, hot topic discussions regarding pro wrestling, sports and entertainment and more at IRABBroadcasting.com.
