I’m passing this on to those of you that may want to consider participating in this weekends “Count for Fun, Count for the Future”. On May 17th, 2004, the first state in the Union to allow same sex marriage is the “Old Colony State,” of Massachusetts. The governor at that time dug up an old law that forbade marriages of same sex couples that did not reside in the state. He subsequently lasted one term and declined to run for office again.
