Our review of Rufus Wainwright’s CD/DVD release, “Milwaukee at Last!!!”
Dear Matt Alber,
Please marry me and have my children.
Yours Always,
Dan.
If you’ve listened to Matt’s debut album Hide Nothing, you’ve probably considered writing similar fan mail. Don’t worry – you’re not alone. This personal and sentimental 10-track CD has had listeners swooning since its release last November.
Alternative-electronica has a leader in Sacha Sacket and the LadyKillers. His latest album, Sacha Sacket and the LadyKillers – Live at the Zone, is a pretty unique recording – he recorded it at a Los Angeles sex club with his all-girl band. Now, it’s not what you think, this is not a Erotica type album. This album is extremely personal, introspective and gives a reflection of vulnerability that is uncanny in front of a live audience with a strong amount of sexual tension in the air in a venue that had few to zero boundaries or inhibitions.

We recently sat down to talk with outspoken comedienne Margaret Cho, star of her new reality show on VH1 called The Cho Show. Cho, always an activist for our gay community, discusses why marriage equality is important to her, the crisis involving Governor Sarah Palin and more.

Joshua Klipp got on my radar by complete accident. I found Josh via MySpace, and his looks caught my eye that I had to give it a listen. Josh is a trans singer and he has made musical history on his self released EP Patience in 2006 by singing in both his pre- and post-transition voices on the R&B track “Little Girl.” Josh has been catching plenty of eyes and ears by being featured on the Tara Banks Show and The L Word and there’s no stopping Josh now. Josh is originally from the Midwest and currently lives in California where he works with opely gay producer, Kristopher Cloud.
Our review of one of the greatest entertainers of my generation, Rufus Wainwright’s “Release The Stars.” Wainwright’s voice, a glorious instrument among a orchestra of rich sound, has a vulnerable sweetness peppermint swirled with deepening experience. “Release The Stars,” his fifth release, produced by Pet Shop Boy Neil Tennant, is incredibly personable.
