Sony Music Entertainment is giving Mariah Carey fans the opportunity to sing their own version of a Mariah ballad and send it to their friends and family in the form of a Valentine’s Day ecard.
Fans can go to www.MyMariahBallad.com to create a special Valentine’s Day card with a personal recorded message. Using one of Mariah’s hit ballads “Dreamlover,” “Vision of Love,” or “Hero” fans can then sing the ballad themselves or use the original version sung by Mariah. The ballad along with a personal message is then embedded into an animated e-card which can be sent virally to friends and family in time for Valentine’s Day.

Cyndi Lauper with over 20 years in the music business and global record sales exceeding 25 million, has proven that she has the heart, soul and talent to keep her legion of fans compelled by her innovative, creative moves. Cyndi is the definition of staying power with creative glitter and musical sass.

Mariah Carey doesn’t disappoint with her latest release, E=MC², which is living on the album and singles chart. Her eleventh album of her career, Mariah proves that you can have career longevity and still be contemporary. This may be one of her best albums of her career, written and produced by Mariah, C. “Tricky” Stewart and The-Dream, with special guests including Jermaine Dupri, DJ Toomp, Stargate, Will I Am, Bryan Michael Cox, Nate “Danjahandz” James Poyser. Mariah has created the Mariah Sound, a nice blend of pop, R&B and hip hop that keeps her on the pulse and setting the standard for everyone else in the music industry.

will.i.am, frontman and producer behind the multi-platinum group, The Black Eyed Peas, is not disbanding the group so let’s get that out of the way first. will’s exploring his own artistry and expression with his new solo album, Songs About Girls. If you’re looking for the Black Eyed Peas sound, go to the other end of the aisle, because this is a different sound. will’s worked with talent across the musical spectrum from Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Carlos Santana, The Pussycats and of course, fellow Black Eyed Pea, Fergie. But unlike most artists who roll with the best of the best, the show on this album is his show, and not slammed with guest vocal after guest vocal. Have to admire a man who is so convinced of his own talent that he’s not going to fill his album with gimmick guest appearances.
