Tribefly is a unique social network focusing on connecting users to new cultures and keeping them culturally connected. Tribefly was founded in June 2008 by founder Marc Edwards and is reaching the 50 million plus from around the world that are “culturally curious” who are interested in other world cultures other than their own. These global citizens of the culturally curious demographic want to be connected to a culture other than their own by traveling to new places, as well as domestic exploration for new cultural experiences, such as experimenting new cuisine, seeing foreign films, seeking new music that they wouldn’t normally hear on mainstream radio.
