Ben & Jerry’s Launches Limited Elton John Flavor Nationally to Raise Money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation
THE BATCH IS BACK! Ben & Jerry’s Launches Limited Elton John Flavor Nationally to Raise Money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation!
“Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road” makes its national stage debut! Ben & Jerry’s launches limited Elton John flavor across the nation to raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Ben and Jerry’s produced a custom flavor honoring the out musician consisting of ‘an outrageous symphony of decadent chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough, butter brickle and white chocolate chunks.’ And the name — Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road— is a play on one of Elton John’s most popular song titles.
Ben & Jerry’s has been a long-time champion for social causes and responsibilities, and they are cementing their commitment in the fight against HIV/AIDS by extending this to the national audience to enjoy and take action. A portion of the proceeds generated from this project will help support the life-saving work of the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF).
You can get your own limited-batch on shelves around the country now through Summer 2009. The flavor is currently available in Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops nationwide, trumpeting another pun of one of Elton John’s famous songs, claiming “The Batch Is Back!” Please have fun with this, and support Ben and Jerry’s, their ongoing work and this great cause in the fight against AIDS.
