On May 7 in Atlanta, thousands of paws will walk for a cause at Atlanta Humane Society’s 21st annual Atlanta Pet Parade. Come with your favorite furry friend for a morning of festivities! Their goal is to raise $300,000 in support of the shelter’s programs and services.

You can help support fundraising for animal shelters and assist our ongoing efforts to save the lives of Atlanta’s most deserving pets!  The Atlanta Humane Society is the oldest private charitable organization in Atlanta, founded in 1873.  Did you know that it costs the Atlanta Humane Society about $300 per pet to find safe and loving homes for our sheltered animals? The Atlanta Pet Parade is AHS’s largest fundraising event and 100% of the proceeds directly support the AHS.

Walkers are required to register and are encouraged to sign up in advance for $30 per person. The walk will proceed rain or shine. Registration fees are non-refundable.

To register in advance visit www.atlantahumane.org or www.atlantapetparade.org.  To keep up with their latest, visit their Facebook and Twitter.
