Wilmington: Help Restore the Gulf Fundraiser for the Nature Conservancy

Saturday, July 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Wilmington, NC businesses are working together to help the Gulf Oil Spill restoration efforts, sponsored by Cape Fear Green Building Alliance.

1) Buy a book.
Wilmington Gulf Fundraiser, Carolina Preserves

Purchase a copy of William Mangum‘s “Carolina Preserves” featuring more than 125 watercolor reproductions of special places in North Carolina with essays by some of the state’s most colorful personalities. $30, cash or check only.

2) Donate.
Make a donation and receive a green awareness ribbon.

3) Spread the word.

Bambi is a graduate from the class of 2004 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing.
