WILMINGTON, NC, July 29, 2009 – Out Impact, a national gay online magazine focusing on making a positive impact within the gay community, will in our fifth 2009 event will be presenting a special estate planning seminar for the gay community featuring special guests from the financial and law communities free of charge in Wilmington, NC at Riverboat Landing (2 Market St.) on August 20, 2009 from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m.
Special guests include Mitzi Kincaid of Kincaid and Associates, L.L.C.; Katie Medina, CSNA, Kopka & Medina Group, Merrill Lynch; Megan Kopka, CSNA, Kopka & Medina Group, Merrill Lynch; and Chip McLeod, CFP, CRPC of Merrill Lynch.
“Gay, lesbian and domestic partners lack the same defined tax, inheritance and employment benefits and laws that marriage between a man and a women bestows; for them, these benefits must be created through the careful use of estate planning documents, contracts and sound financial advice,” Mitzi Kincaid of Kincaid and Associates, L.L.C. said.
