ArtSync Magazine, “the art magazine of North Carolina” publishing quarterly, launched their premiere issue at 16 Taps in Wilmington, NC in front of a enthusiastic and diverse crowd of artists of all types, and art enthusiasts. ArtSync Magazine’s mission is to showcase and celebrate North Carolina art in all forms without limitations, as well as tie-in local businesses, art councils and more. Another strong aspect of the publication is “art seeds” providing a art outlet for children in North Carolina to have their work and voice added among professional artists.

“We want to NC in the same sentence with CA and NY as it pertains to the arts,” founder and editor-in-chief, Christine Clemmons writes in her opening editorial. Durham, North Carolina’s Bruce Mitchell won the cover contest, in a very competitive pool of over 12,000 entries.

The launch party featured musical talents of Sai Collins & the Getaway Drivers, DJ Kameshia Rogers and Faith Coleman. Successfully inspiring a packed two floors of 16 Taps in Wilmington, ArtSync Magazine is surely creating the buzz it deserves.
