Presenting American Music Award Winner and Multi-Platinum Artist Randy Jones (also known as Original Village People Cowboy)
Carolina Beach, NC, Friday, June 12, 2009

WILMINGTON, NC, MARCH 20, 2009 – Out Impact, a national gay online magazine focusing on making a positive impact within the gay community, will in our third 2009 event be celebrating good times for a good cause in a special fundraising event for YouthAIDS aboard the Royal Winner Princess II (Winner Cruise Boats, 100 Carl Winner Ave.) in Carolina Beach, NC on June 12th, 2009 from 7 p. m. to 10 p. m.

Included in this special package, the cruise features the scenic view of the Cape Fear Intracoastal Waterway and historic Cape Fear River, a complimentary Carolina BBQ dinner with non-alcoholic beverages. There will also be a cash bar on board with dance music after our featured performer.

“We are grateful to receive these funds from such a wonderful organization,” said Kate Roberts, founder and Director of YouthAIDS and VP of Corporate Marketing & Communications at PSI. “This contribution will allow us to reach countless youth around the world and offer them a future of hope in the face of poverty and disease.”

“We are proud to be working with YouthAIDS, a leading HIV prevention and education initiative of PSI, and are thrilled to support their innovative programs around the world,” Bambi Weavil, CEO and Publisher of Out Impact, Inc. said. “We have been long-time media partners with YouthAIDS and are advocates for their proven effective programs.”

Headlining will be American Music Award winner and Multi-Platinum recording artist Randy Jones, also known as the Original Village People Cowboy. One of the most beloved entertainers and pop icons from the Disco era, Randy came to embody The Village People “Cowboy” in a way that has captured the public imagination for decades. “RJ” has sold in excess of 100 million units in his recording and film career. He has starred in the motion pictures “Three Long Years”, “Facade”, “A Tale About Bootlegging” and “Can’t Stop the Music”, among others.

In his latest eclectic pop collection, Ticket to the World, RJ reveals yet another dimension of his ability which may surprise. With wide-ranging material by some of Pop music’s greatest songwriters, including Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jim Steinman, Depeche Mode, Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys, Neil Diamond and a gem by the Bee Gees, he reinvents a set of pop standards in a smooth, sexy style. Randy Jones’ official website is www.RandyJonesWorld.com and is available for media interviews.

Out Impact will also be providing the first 100 guests who purchase tickets a special VIP gift bag! This is a limited engagement with only 300 tickets to be sold and this event will happen rain or shine.
