Best-selling author, speaker and activist, Marianne Williamson (Facebook, Twitter), spoke to a packed audience at Middle Collegiate Church in New York City today on raising a new consciousness in politics today.
Introduced by author and speaker, Gabrielle Bernstein, Marianne spoke passionately about what men and women can do to have a new conversation in America without the hatred, regardless of who wins the Presidential election. Marianne previewed Sister Giant, a special event that will take place in Los Angeles on November 10-11th, that will also be Livestreamed worldwide. Marianne spoke how this is the “age of collaboration” and how if we work together and say yes more, how things would indeed change. ”You can’t transform what you don’t engage,” she said speaking passionately about child poverty, the inequality of women serving in politics, and more. “We are speaking too softly when it comes to love.”
Sister Giant in Los Angeles will focus on “Women, Nonviolence and Birthing A New American Politics.” Sister Giant will focus on how to help create a politics that “honors the heart rather than betraying it…that people on a spiritual path would see as a vessel for, not an impediment to, our search for a higher consciousness.” For more information on Sister Giant, we invite you to go to http://www.SisterGiant.com and to stay updated by following Sister Giant’s Facebook and Twitter.
