Most of us expect our family to accept us and care for us unconditionally. There are some out there who are not granted the same fortune. Every day, hundreds, if not thousands, of youth are rejected by their own families after their sexual orientation is revealed. These youth can become victims of abuse and feel compelled to runaway or forced out of their homes. To futher their hardships, these youths are often turned away or feel threatened in ordinary shelters. With the help of people like you, we can make the difference in their lives.
