Frazey Ford, "Blue Streak Mama"

Frazey Ford (MySpace, Facebook, Twitter) of The Be Good Tanyas is embarking on a U.S. tour and has just released “Blue Streak Mama” that we couldn’t pass up sharing with you.  ”Blue Streak Mama” is hypnotic alt-folk, channeling some Joni Mitchell/Dolly Parton-type sound with some Ann Peebles R&B influence thrown in.  You may be familiar with Frazey without even realizing it, prior to releasing her new debut album, Obadiah, Frazey fronted the beloved East Vancouver alt-folk trio, The Be Good Tanyas.

Aug .01- Arlington, VA @ IOTA Club
Aug .07 – Portland, OR @ Pickathon Festival
