The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, led by Lars Iversen and Mette Lindberg from Copenhagen, Denmark, has been exciting radio programmers internationally with “The Sun Ain’t Shining No More” and this is just the beginning. You may have heard of them in the iPod Touch ads with their funk/horned filled “Around the Bend.” This is a band that could be classified as pop one minute, techno the next, but without any question, this is a band to party to.

“The Sun Ain’t Shining No More” sounds almost retro pop, and extremely catchy. There is also a fun seven-minute Bruce Aisher Remix that fits their style and is the highlight of the EP. “Push The Envelope” could be even further remixed and sometimes they remind me of No Doubt meets Lady Gaga. Check them out in person November 19th at Pianos in New York City and at their official MySpace http://www.myspace.com/theasteroidsgalaxytour.
