Michelle Williams in preparation for her third solo album and her first since 2004’s Do You Know, is moving away from the gospel sound and embracing the pop/dance world. The new single out now on ITunes, is called “We Break The Dawn,” was co-written by Solange Knowles. Knowles is also the sister of Beyonce Knowles, Michelle’s ensemble-mate and musical colleague in Destiny’s Child. “We Break The Dawn” will be apart of Unexpected, set to be released on August 12th. This could be a strong dance hit for Williams, and this will get new and old fans of Williams and Destiny’s Child, excited.  Fun and full of energy, I’m looking forward to the full release later in the summer!
