When I say the name Delta Goodrem, you may not have any clue as to who she is; however, I sincerely think this time next year, the American music industry will definitely know who she is. Delta is the next big thing out of Australia and she has recently released her third studio album for the first time here in the United States. The self-titled album is her third #1 album in Australia and after conquering several overseas music charts, she has invaded the States.

“Delta” is a mixture of dance pop, pop rock, alternative pop and piano pop. She is a combination of Celine Dion and Carrie Underwood. A survivor of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, she wanted to make a lighter CD that featured “great pop songs from my heart but with no baggage.” She definitely accomplished this goal as “Delta” is a great CD from beginning to end.

Some of my favorite songs on this CD are: “Believe Again,” “Born To Try,” “Woman” and “Brave Face” but to be honest, there isn’t one song that I dislike. I truly enjoy every single song Goodrem sings on this CD. You know how some CDs you buy for just a couple of songs and whenever you listen to that CD, you program your CD player just to play those few songs that you like to listen to? “Delta” is not one of those CDs. You will want to listen to all twelve songs and you may be in trouble because you might, just might want to listen to them over and over and over.

I highly recommend this CD to everyone who is reading this and to all who are not. Go out right now and purchase this CD and then share it with your best friend. You both will appreciate this wonderfully created masterpiece. And get ready because Delta-a-mania has hit the United States and I don’t think we’ll recover anytime soon.
